2024 Hunter Valley Dressage Championships
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September
We are so excited for our Championship event, with tests from Preparatory to Grand Prix, including the Lois Howe Memorial Prix St Georges Challenge, and Para/Equibility Test of Choice. There are plenty of great prizes on offer, from our generous sponsors.
Spectators and supporters are always welcome - come along and see the very best of dressage in the Hunter Valley. The draw has now been published.
Loise Howe Memorial Prix St Georges Challenge - Sponsored by Kelato Animal Health
Rescheduled to Sunday 15 September
We were beyond disappointed to have to cancel the Challenge in July after extreme wet weather. But we shall be going ahead in September!
There is substantial prize money on offer from Kelato Animal Health for the highest scoring entrants at Prix St Georges level, in memory of club founder and dedicated volunteer, Lois Howe.
Para/Equibility Test of Choice
Para and Equibility riders have the option to ride up to 2 tests of their choice in our Para/Equibility Test of Choice classes.
Please indicate with your entry the test you wish to ride; EA or FEI, which grade and which test.
Remember to supply any Para or Exemption cards required to our Events Team via events@huntervalleydressage.com. We will ensure these resources are available for our judges.
As part of our Championship events, we will be awarding special prizes to the Para/Equibility riders with the highest score in their respective tests.
Info for Attendees
Please direct scratchings or enquiries to our Events Team at events@huntervalleydressage.com.

Camping is available on the grounds, however you MUST register by emailing events@huntervalleydressage.com. There is no access to electricity for campers, however toilets and shower facilities will be open.
Riders, please remember to see the Gear Steward AFTER you have ridden your test. This is a Championship event, and failure to comply with the Gear Check regulations will result in elimination.
Pencilling
We need pencillers! We can’t run the competition without them. We can help you brush up your skills on the Nominate tablet scoring system, to ensure you are feeling comfortable and confident.
If you are able to assist at this event, even if only for a short time, please get in touch with Pencilling Coordinator, Di Stanley on 0438 772 139 or at dewiestanley@bigpond.com.
